Thanksgiving is literal, at least for me and our growing team at Verifeed.
Beyond the tryptophan turkey highs, grandmothers’ recipes and the potential for family fireworks, Thanksgiving is a moment to feel deep gratitude, to give thanks.
Take a moment and think about all the triumphs, lessons, friends, family, experiences you are grateful for this year. If you really focus, it is probably a long list. Who has helped you? Who has taught you? Who has supported you?
At Verifeed we are thankful for the opportunity we have to truly make a difference in the world – the knowledge, strategies, “secret sauce” we’ve developed and use to help companies and causes connect authentically with their true believers, serve them with integrity, and realize their biggest dreams of success.
Personally I feel deep gratitude to those of our clients who truly want to “swing for the fences” – those who dare to think outside the box, try new things in a fast-changing world, and really squeeze every tidbit, every last morsel of the valuable intelligence we glean from social conversations to grow and improve their businesses.
Of course everyone wants to go “all in” to succeed, right? Use every resource, expert, tool, tactic or proven strategy to achieve your goals?
You’d be surprised by how many do not, even when it’s right at their fingertips.
It’s the person who buys the treadmill and hangs their dry cleaning from it. Or the person who buys the meditation tape and never makes time to listen. Or the person who signs up for the course and doesn’t attend.
This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for everyone I work with who truly acts on the intelligence (and 10X multiplier strategies for customer growth) we provide – and also for my newfound clarity in opting only to work for those who truly do want to succeed beyond their wildest dreams!
We often joke about only working with people who can “handle the truth”. Except it’s no joke. Our name literally means “truth food” – and this Thanksgiving we’re grateful to those brave enough to act on it, even when it challenges assumptions, hypotheses and comfort zones. True growth – business and personal – comes from stretching beyond, being open to possibilities heretofore unknown, seeing opportunities in the data.
So thank you friends, colleagues, customers!!!
Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, with #gratitude,
Melinda
